DISNEY

Disneyland and Walt Disney World are two of the most magical places on Earth. We have made so many memories together as a family and go back to Disneyland every year for our kids’ birthdays! Disney loves military families and offers discounted tickets, hotel stays, and other awesome perks for military families!

Disneyland

We grew up in Southern California lucky enough to also currently be stationed here.  We grew up visiting Disneyland with our families and now celebrate all 3 of our kids’ birthdays here every year! It’s an annual tradition that we all love so much. We’ve made so many memories here and hope you and your family will too!

Walt Disney World

We were able to visit Walt Disney World in the beginning of 2020 and it was so much fun! It was a completely different experience than Disneyland with 4 different parks and many more Disney hotels.  We were able to book our stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (within walking distance to Magic Kingdom) with a military discount and we booked our flights with points, helping us save over $2,000 on our trip!

Disney Cruises

We dream of one day sailing on a Disney Cruise!  It’s definitely next on our Disney bucket list.  We’ve heard amazing things from friends and can’t wait to experience for ourselves. From exceptional dining, amazing broadway shows, kids clubs, and their own private island, we know that Disney will leave us wanting more.  Don’t they always?

Disney will periodically offer discounts on specific sailings and they are usually posted a few months prior to the departure dates.  There is a maximum of 50 discounted staterooms per sailing.  There is a maximum of one discounted stateroom per military member, per sailing.  You can check availability here.

Contact Disney directly at (800) 951-3532 to book one of these special discounted rooms.  Proof of military service will be required at check in.

International Disney Parks

Disney has parks all over the world.  We haven’t personally visited any of the parks outside of the continental US, but hope to one day.

Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris is currently offering active duty military members 50% off  2 or 3 day admission tickets.  There is a limit of 5 (including the military member).

More info can be found over at Military Disney Tips

Tokyo Disneyland

Like Disneyland here in California, Tokyo Disneyland also has two parks – Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea.

We haven’t visited either park yet, but hope to when we visit Japan in a few years.

We don’t know of any discounts for US military members at this time, but are hoping for one in the future.

Disneyland Shanghai

Disneyland Shanghai is Disney’s newest resort, which opened in June 2016.

We don’t know of any discounts for US military members at this time, but are hoping for one in the future.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005 and is currently undergoing an expansion. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle was recently transformed to the Castle of Magical Dreams and is absolutely beautiful.  The expansion also includes Marvel Land and Frozen Land.

We don’t know of any discounts for US military members at this time, but are hoping for one in the future.
